ABOUT THE FARM

"Anbrook" is located east of Beverley, Western Australia. The farm is run as a mixed crop and livestock enterprise, growing cereals, legumes and oilseeds in the cropping phase. Short crop rotations and no till seeding practices ensure good quality, clover dominant, mixed pastures in the grazing phase. Anbrook's sheep flock consists of 100% Dohne bloodlines. Transtioning to Dohnes in 2005, the Wansbrough family has focussed on producing easy care, dual purpose sheep. Buying in all rams from WA's finest Dohne studs has ensured we continue to improve our flock. We look to breed ewes that are good feeders and good mothers, with 17-21 micron wool. While also producing high yielding heavy carcass lambs.

  • Producing high yielding, heavy carcass lambs

Chirniminup Dohne Stud

For more than 10 years we have been sourcing every one of our rams from Chirniminup Dohne Stud, run by the Browne family, Nyabing, Western Australia. Their Rams are in our opinion some of the best in the country and only continue to improve. By investing in high quality commercial rams we believe our flock has continued to improve.
